Timothy Wasswa Kabugo

Timothy is a Resource Mobilization Expert at the ALSF. He holds a Masters’ of Science in Development Economics from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Commerce from Makerere University Kampala. He has more than 20 years of multi-disciplinary consulting experience in mobilizing donor resources; undertaking private sector development and economic studies; market and sector and strategic research; governance and policy reviews.
 
Over the years, Timothy has developed expertise in drafting plans and strategies for resource mobilization; preparing funding proposals; developing technical and financial proposals for various assignments; managing teams; implementing and analyzing baseline, impact and market surveys; preparing sector studies; developing and evaluating government policies; writing and editing reports and publications for public and private sector institutions and donor-funded or facilitated programs and activities.
 
He has worked for several African governments and development agencies, including—the World Bank, Department for International Development UK, UN-Habitat, the African Development Bank, East Africa Community Secretariat, and United Nations Population Fund.
