Luyando Muloshi

Luyando Muloshi is a legal counsel at the African Legal Support Facility (ALSF) and is coordinating the African Mining Legislation Atlas (AMLA) project in collaboration with the World Bank Group (WBG).
Prior to joining the ALSF, Luyando served as the Head of Legal Research at the Centre for Trade and Policy Development, a renowned non-governmental Think Tank in Zambia. In this role, she contributed to shaping policies that promote and drive socio-economic development. Her work involved extensive research, analysis, and the formulation of legal strategies to effect meaningful socio-economic change in Zambia, particularly in the extractives sector. She also offered technical support on work on public finance, climate justice, and trade & development.
Luyando also gained valuable experience in private practice, where she specialised in commercial and corporate law, & litigation. Her expertise in handling complex legal matters, providing strategic advice, and ensuring compliance with regulations has been instrumental.
Luyando holds a Bachelor of Law degree and a Master of Laws in Corporate and Commercial Law, from the University of Zambia. She is also an advocate for the High Court of Zambia, as well as a member of the Law Association of Zambia.
