The African Legal Support Facility supports the Government of Niger

The African Legal Support Facility is hosting a capacity-building workshop in Niamey, Niger for Government officials involved in the development and management of mining projects. The workshop is attended by 25 Government officials and is conducted by the Law Firms De Gaulle Fleurance & Associés (DGFLA) and LBTI & Partners.
The workshop was introduced by Ms. Maude Vallée, Chief Legal Counsel and officially opened by Mr. Abdourhamane ABDOU, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Mines, who thanked the ALSF for its continued support to the Ministry of Mines over the last years.
This eight-days workshop (4-12 November 2019) aims to provide Government officials with valuable tools and inputs to be used in the context of mining projects negotiation, implementation and follow-up, notably by discussing the dynamics and key principles that govern such projects, in particular from a governmental perspective.
