Legal Counsel

Camille Faure

Camille Faure is a Legal Counsel at the at the African Legal Support Facility (ALSF). She joined the ALSF in September 2023.

Prior to joining the ALSF, Ms. Faure acquired experience at several leading law firms in Paris and Ho-Chi-Minh City, as well as at the International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes in Washington D.C. (ICSID). Ms. Faure’s experience mainly focused on investor-state dispute settlement and international arbitration. Her practice covered a range of sectors, including energy, oil and gas, infrastructure, and commercial law issues. She also advised clients in annulment and enforcement proceedings of arbitral awards before the French courts.

Ms. Faure was admitted to the New York Bar in 2021. She graduated from Georgetown Law University’s LL.M. in International Dispute Resolution and from H.E.C. Paris’ LL.M. in International Business Law and Management. She holds a Master’s degree in International and Comparative Business Law from Bordeaux IV University and a Bachelor’s degree in Public International Law from Montpellier University.
