Mukazi Kayitenkore

Mukazi Kayitenkore is a Senior Legal Counsel at the African Legal Support Facility. She has been with the ALSF since January 2011. As a member of the institutional team, she assists in the management of the corporate secretariat, with legal advisory services to the statutory bodies as well as relations with member states and institutions.

Before joining the ALSF, she practiced corporate law at a leading Rwandan law firm with a focus on the banking and finance sector. She was also involved in alternative dispute resolution mechanisms for investors. Prior to that, she served as a trade finance and investment specialist at the Bank of Kigali, the largest commercial bank in Rwanda.

Ms. Kayitenkore is a member of the Rwanda Bar Association and the East African Law Society. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, a Master’s Degree in Business Law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Institute of Legal Practice and Development, Rwanda.
